Instagram has rolled-out “Hyperlapse”, its all-new flagship app that captures high-quality stabilised time lapse videos even while in motion.
The app’s built-in stabilisation technology lets the user generate moving handheld time lapses that result to a cinematic and ultra smooth quality and experience — a traditional feature which is formerly fulfilled only by users with comprehensive photography equipment and advanced photography skills.
According to Instagram, Hyperlapse has been designed to be as simple as possible. Users are not required to make an account to create a hyperlapse. Instead, users just have to open the app straight to the camera. Tap the screen to begin recording and tap again to stop. Choose the desired playback speed between 1x–12x and tap the green check mark to save the video to the camera roll. Hyperlapse enables the user to share the video on Instagram right away.
Ever since Instagram was introduced in the market, it has always been their priority to deliver powerful tools to generate and transform pictures or videos in a fun, quirky and creative manner.
Hyperlapse is currently available for iOS devices by far. It will be initially available for the Android community soon.
