Skype for Mac has been updated to version 7.0 that brings out a mobile design layout to the desktop app.
With an aim to deliver a more sleek and smooth chat experience, the app integrates new icons and a new blue element.
With the anticipated release to the public of the OS X Yosemite, the new Skype layout will blend right with the design.
With a single click, users are enabled to chat and share images while on a video call throught the chat sidebar, images are shown instantly once downloaded. In addition, sharing PDFs and other types of files has been improved.
Furthermore, there’s a new bubbly-style chat layout depicted straight from the mobile app. Skype also added that free group video calling has been bettered.
Skype for Mac is free to download from the Skype website while existing Skype users can update directly from their Skype apps.
