Effective on December 1st, Xbox Music will no longer be available for free on your PC, phone or any other web-accessing device.
Microsoft will stop offering the Spotify-like service for free however, it will not be gone completely.
Users will now be obliged to pay for the earlier premium Xbox Music Pass which will charge you £8.99 a month, as per the Gizmodo article.
On the bright side, Microsoft guarantees Xbox Music users that any paid music uploaded to their collection within the service will remain as their virtual property.
Furthermore, user’s only purchased music or Music Passed up to access are the only thing they can play from December on.
