Tumblr has unveiled its video player improvements alongside new features such as infinite looping and the ability to multitask — watch clips at the bottom right of the feed while scrolling to view new posts.

The famous blogging site released the new features just days prior to the report that Tumblr garnered 120 million users since Yahoo acquired the site in 2013, according to Mashable.

Video posts are springing up twice as much as photo posts on the blog site. According to Tumblr, the built-in player is the most preferred player option on the site.

Furthermore, another improvement includes having the ability to change the Tumblr video player to HD quality and auto play. The new feature functions both on the web and mobile (requires WiFi connection on mobile devices).

“We’re always looking to improve the experience on Tumblr in any format, but right now, we’re not ready to talk about the future of GIFs,” a Tumblr spokesperson told Mashable.
