 Here Beta is a mobile app version of Nokia’s Here Maps that lets you search, navigate or get directions around the world with or without any Internet connection.

Released on December 5, 2014, this mobile app would really test your loyalty with Google Maps for they have similar approaches in design and layout. The only difference is that Here Maps Beta is lacking an integrated voice search and Google Maps, on the other hand, has no offline maps so neither really overpowers the other.

Here Maps Beta lets you download maps that you could later access without any Internet connection. You just have to select whatever state, country or continent you desire and save it.

This app is now available free on Android and Windows Phone, and will be on iOS too in the near future.
