Facebook has introduced a new feature to its messaging app Messenger, which will give you a bit of information about the person who messages or calls you, Facebook friend or not.
Messenger provides a part of information from their profile account like job, city or town they live in and if there is any mutual friends you both had. It will be also displaying their first message with their name and photo. Facebook said it is a hint to decide whether you will start a conversation with the person you knew or not. about the person who messages or calls you, Facebook friend or not. This new Messenger feature will only show information Facebook thinks will be useful and at the same time respects the privacy of both users. For users who are not “friends” with each other in Facebook, Messenger will be providing anything that was set available for public by the users.
This feature will be available to iOS and Android users in US, UK, France and India over the next few weeks.
